Although the book was written as a companion to the limited edition Arcades Tarot, it can serve as inspiration and guiding tool for all interested in developing a language of visual synthesis. How do you render a world of Tarot symbolic representations and cultural functions in 17 syllables? By keeping an eye on what goes in and out of the arcades of perception.
All the poems in this book function as a spell, which makes this book a talismanic object.

The book comes in three editions: an unlimited hardback and ebook editions and a special limited hardback edition as a signed and sigilized accompaniment to 22 copies the Arcades Tarot cards crafted as a talisman.

CARDS: The talisman edition is sold out, but since there’s been a demand for a second edition of cards, a standard set will be available in 2023. The second edition of cards are sold separately from the Read Like the Devil shop with the MPC company of playing cards.
